Miley Cyrus Becomes First 1990s-Born Artist to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Miley Cyrus has officially made history as the first person born in the 1990s to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Earlier this June, Cyrus released her Something Beautiful film, a visual companion to her album of the same name, which features scenes of the pop star sprawled across the iconic sidewalk as a playful nod to Track 9, “Walk of Fame.” Now, that playful moment has come full circle.
Taking to X, the singer and actress announced that she will receive her own star, calling the recognition “an honor” that has been decades in the making.
With this milestone, the Hannah Montana alum will join the ranks of legends like Michael Jackson, Elton John, and Carole King on Hollywood Boulevard. She is part of the 2025 class of inductees, which also includes Josh Groban, Demi Moore, and Molly Ringwald.
Miley’s star comes at a fitting time. Her Something Beautiful visual album, which dropped on May 30, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and in it, she filmed scenes right on the Walk of Fame, crawling across stars in the middle of the night.
It is a moment that perfectly blends nostalgia, rebellion, and the full-circle payoff of a career that keeps rewriting pop stardom.
